Croner has now received confirmation from BIS that The Flexible Working (Eligibility, Complaints and Remedies) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 that were due to come into force on 6 April 2011 were repealed with effect from 1 April 2011. The Flexible Working (Eligibility, Complaints and Remedies) (Amendment)(Revocation) Regulations 2011 are now in force and available at http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi. This means that there are no changes to the current right to request flexible working regulations that provide parents of children aged up to and including 16, disabled children under 18 and carers of certain adults the right to request a change in their contractual terms and conditions from their employer.
