Location: Croner House, Hinckley, Leicestershire/Remote

Job Purpose

To provide high-level written Private Client tax consultancy reports to our clients who are accountants ranging from sole practitioners to top 100 practices, as well as businesses and industry professionals.

The qualities we require

We are looking for a tax professional to join our established team of over 24 consultants.

You will have extensive experience of advising on tax issues gained from working in practice or industry over a number of years.

It is likely that you are a specialist in private client work with a minimum five years’ experience in Trusts and estates, capital gains, income tax, taxation of investment income including property income. You will be logical, analytical with strong problem solving and communication skills, including report writing.

You will hold a recognised professional qualification or the equivalent by experience.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Provide complete, accurate and clear written reports which are fully referenced to the appropriate legislation and other source materials

• Ensure the full facts are established (by liaising with our clients as necessary).

• Manage your own workload to ensure reports are completed within the agreed deadlines and budgets.

• Maintain your knowledge in respect of relevant areas of Tax

• Assist your line manager with complaints

• Provide peer reviews as and when required on colleagues’ reports

• Provide content to the marketing team to promote the services we provide

• Provide feedback and ideas on how to improve the service we offer to the clients

• Any other duties that are deemed appropriate from time to time
