Having the right up-to-date policies and procedures in place is essential to managing a well-run and thriving organisation.
Policies and procedures can be very time consuming to source and often it's unclear whether they align to the most recent employment law legislation.
Businesses which don't update their documentation put themselves at risk of not handling challenging HR situaions like grievances and disciplinaries properly.
In some cases this can lead to expensive employment tribunal claims, particularly as the Supreme Court axed tribunal fees in July 2017.
One organisation which has benefited from Croner's resource library and recently updated all their policies and procedures and staff Handbook is Finchale.
"We were due to update our documentation and had recently started to use Croner HR, so it was great to be able to use Croner's document library with our consultant Nicola's help to source all of the information we needed to update everything," said Finchale's Sandra Horseman.
"It was a big project and we wouldn't have been able to do this without having access to Croner's up-to-date documentation."

Finchale has access to Croner's document library, as part of the Simplify Complete service they subscribe to.
Simplify Complete is a one stop shop for organisations, providing cloud based software, 24/7 helpline access, insurance and on-site support. It has been designed to make life easier for businesses by helping to dramatically cut the cost and time of managing employees.
As well as updating their documentation, Finchale has also benefited from a number of other services, provided by the Simplify service.
"We have found the helpline calls to Croner's advisers very useful," said Sandra.
"Calls are answered quickly and queries answered without any problem - providing us with answers and also draft documentation where needed.
"Our recent queries have mainly been regarding general HR staffing issues and our new staff appraisal documentation.
"So far in our short time with Croner we have not had any problems or any queries which the advisers have not been able to advise on. We have been pleased with all calls to Croner and have normally had matters sorted out very quickly.
"Excellent, fast, informative response to any queries we may have."
Finchale was founded in 1943 as a rehabilitation and resettlement centre for service personnel returning from active service and has retained a strong link with the Armed Forces family ever since.
Today Finchale is a proud leading provider of Welfare to Work, veterans, training, entrepreneurial and specialist employment programs.
