The EU Settlement Scheme allows employees who are originally from the EU to remain in the UK indefinitely post-Brexit through being granted ‘settled status’. Although the scheme is currently open for applications it is due to be fully rolled out for all employees from 30 March 2019.
While the fate of Brexit day remains in flux, businesses will be suspended in uncertainty, but you can provide assurances to your employees which will go a long way to maintaining the morale of your workforce.
