As an employer, you have the same health and safety responsibilities for homeworkers as for any other workers. 

If you have staff working from home, permanently or temporarily, there are a number of factors that must be considered:

• How will you keep in touch with employees?
• What work activity will they be doing (and for how long)?
• Can work be done safely?
• Are control measures required to protect employees?
